I love how the molding, bed and dresser look!

We are waiting on the glider which will go there by the window. & still trying to decide on other pictures and a bumper .. goodness sweet {affordable} baby linens are few and far between. Everything is so bright and older girlish (vs nursery). I figure little one won't really need a bumper at the beginning. We finally found some pics that work so there is something on the wall.

on the opposite wall is a queen bed, and to the right is the desk - you can sort of see the desk chair. I know it is pretty cramped ..and turns out you can't even see the awesome picture molding :(
the walls look pink'ish - but they are actually light beige. (those are the doors to the closet and bathroom).

there is a little sweet boj tucked safely away in my belly. i love that she kicks and moves .. and mostly that she makes my heart smile real big! :)

{can't wait to see her ..not for 10 more weeks of course.}

{this little mama is tired.}

Despite being sick in the first few months of baby girl I was never truly tired. These days .. I'm tired. Like the tired where my brain is about half functional, where my eyes won't stay open, and where my body barely wants to move type tired. I've been good to ward off naps and extra sleep in hopes that the sleep I do get is helpful - plus with peanut coming there is no time like the present to get things done.


At least I'm done with little BOJ's blanket! Now to finish the bird house/ shelf that we are working on. Oh. crafts.

{have i mentioned what a wonderful, selfless, kind, caring, thoughtful, subjective advice giving, supportive friend she is? she is such a good mom! we have a lot in common including, enjoying reality shows, being moms to little girls, husbands that love anything soccer/ xbox, and basically the same general outlook on just about everything! i don't even have to say what i'm thinking about something and Erin already knows! Erin and I meet in french class at Baylor back in the day, my have things changed .. cities, jobs, marriages, babies!}

Question.
I'm finishing the blanket for the little cheer leading choreographer in my belly .. and well I can't seem to decide on what to do with the edges: plain (the pink in the pic) or ruffle (the gingham) and which color: pink or gingham!? The back of it will be the print. Um. What do you think?

A few things:

#1: the molding is completely done. {can I get an "amen"}. i can't thank my hubby enough for all of the hard work and long hours {don't be fooled, molding is an undertaking!}. and an unfortunate thing happened as he celebrated, see #2. the room fit for a sweetheart is just awaiting a precious crib {thanks mom!}. .. and a few other trinkets. and well of course a little BOJ.

#2: Dyer's xbox has experienced this for the second time ..
THE RED RING OF DEATH. Go check out wikipedia for answers. So as of late the xbox is going to be sent back to rehab. So disappointing :(

#3: That leaves us at T minus 14 weeks.

#4: Garner has finals .. then he is pretty much a Sophomore! ICH is so proud of her uncle and wishes him good luck!

#5: Have you heard this saying: "to clean your clock" or "I'll be there with bells on"? Just wondering.

Isabelle is so lucky. She has the sweetest uncle!

Uncle Garner sent her a gift, an adorable silk blanket. I absolutely love it! I can already see her cuddling with it.

Funny. Today I was watching something on TV (ok. maybe it was House Hunters on HGTV.) and they were in the Grand Caymans. Reminding me of this time when Dyer and I went to the Caymens after I graduated Baylor .. then I remembered that it was exactly 5 years ago today.

I thought I would share:

This weekend we've been busy bees, working on things like this:

{the blanket, clearly still in the works. and i've been eating sour patch kids and watching who's wedding is it anyway?.}

{and dyer .. well he is busy trying to catch up on sleep before work tonight. 12hours/night in the er x6days per week would wear anyone out. not to mention that he did really well on step 3, that would tucker me out too.}

I can't believe it. I say it often.. time flies.

25 weeks: Head to heels, I'belle now measures about 13 1/2 inches, and about a pound and a half. She's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat (love it!). As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn.

Belly continues to grow.
Molding is justaboutdone! (Um, then there is painting.)
Cord banking - registered.
Bedding picked out.
Baby quilt started.
Labor/ delivery 'what to expect' information read .. have I mentioned I have sort of put this part off.

{i have some sono pics of a v.i.p. but our computer/ guest/ nursery room is in a little bit of a disarray and i'm unable to scan pics of that sweetness at this time. soon we'll be in business.}

sweet boy.

Parents x2: that's right Dyer and I already have a little one! Rowdy! Sweet boy was a b-day gift from Dyer a few years ago (ok. its been almost 5.). "Creamy" was a pound puppy with a funny name from the Humane Society, and he has been the best dog!

Rowdy's favorites: laying in a pile of warm clothes, treats, sleeping, tearing up boxes he finds in the recycling when he is mad, loving on his mom and dad, dog fighting, his 9pm bed time (really, he gets up and heads off to his bed at the same time every night), sleeping with DH everynight .. under the covers. His dislikes: other dogs/ animals, when the receiver turns on for the TV, that is about it.

I thought I better give Rowd a little shout out since he may not get too much coverage once little peanut comes.

I realize that there are a lot of Rowdy pics, but when going through the 100 million+ pics of him it was hard to decide. I might add, while looking through pics I realize how fast time flies.

{so this is a little start to something for baby i'belle. i am hand stiching, involving no sewing machine, a blanket for her. the fabric with the blue and pink print was the actual fabric from my room when I was a baby.}

Speaking of she, I had another sono a few days ago and there was confirmation that baby was in fact a girl. She continues to grow like a weed, a sweet 24wk dancing weed!

A few weeks ago I went to Lubbock and spent some time with the sweetest, cutest of little one-year-olds, Jackson!

It was so good to have a little mini vacation and see Michelle, Jack, and Ross.
