twenty-two.

Little dancing queen Isabelle is growing like a weed. ..and my belly keeps getting huge'er.

{22 weeks: She is on the move all the time! After many failed attempts at getting Dad DH to see baby girl move, he finally saw her kick yesterday. At 11 inches and almost 1 pound, she is starting to look like a miniature newborn. Her lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and she's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath her gums. Her eyes have formed, but her irises still lack pigment. Inside her belly, her pancreas, is developing steadily.}

I know it is insane to think that ICH will be filling our lives with joy (ok, maybe more than just joy, perhaps little-to-no sleep!) in 4 short months.

The list of things to be done pre-baby seems to get longer and longer and I'm not sure how to get a handle on it due to our schedules right now.

{I wonder what baby girl will look like .. will she have Dyer's eye color? will she have my nose?, my fair skin?}

shoop.

This past weekend I headed to Cen-tex, specifically Harker Heights, to see my mom and brother. It was Garner's confirmation, which by the way: I am so completely proud of him!

My mom and Garner.

Garner and I.

It was relaxing and I was able to come home with some great treasures, in addition a really funny story (whether it is one of those "you had to be there" stories or not, I'm not sure. but I know that I died with laughter).

Here we go. Recently, my mom bought G'man a new desk for his computer, which he had to put together. However, putting the desk together was quite the challenge and the desk ended up falling apart.
I should have known when I walked into the computer room and there was a small drawer laying on the bed and I asked Garner why it wasn't in the desk. "Didn't fit."

Ode to G and his handy work. The sign says: FREE, $0 OBO.

Garner's desk

What desk should look like

Garner: 0, Desk: 1.

E+C+G.

Belated .. again I hate that. {there are many, many more posts I am delayed on.}

Erin + Chris + big girl Grace Kathryn came to visit the Heintz crew the first weekend in April. Not only did we get lots of fun catching up time, Dyer and I got to hang out with sweet-sweet Grace! DH and I had an opportunity to see what it is like to have a little girlie running around, and it couldn't be more fun! Grace brought baby girl a precious pink polo outfit, can't wait for little one to wear it!

Erin and Chris should contemplate moving to Dallas, then in a few years, Houston.
{sadly there are no pics of Erin and I!}

*Update on all things baby girl: Dyer checked out another baby "school" today and was impressed. Here's hoping that wait list goes down quick. And, my stomach continues to get huge, and I crave pinnapple 24/7.

20 + 8.

Belated. I hate that.
[@ least I wasn't late when it really mattered! on the actual b-day, 4/10.]

This is a little shout out to the 20 + 8yrs old that is my hubby, D. Dyer. He's been around almost 3 decades. I can't even imagine. :) ..tee-hee.

If you are wondering, birthdays for us generally consist of a b-day gift, in this case a box of gobstoppers and bottle caps (and a gyn MD delivery payoff and tires for the Smurf), B-day'er also get a nice dinner at a restaurant of their choosing (provided it is less than $50, Roadhouse was DH's choice). And for Dyer, a Rice crispy treat cake. I think I've made him one every year but the first .. which was shortly after we started dating and I didn't know, I gave him chocolate chip cookies, his least favorite thing ever: awesome [good thing he thought I was cute!].

these are DH avoiding the camera
note that i've whited out baby girl's name .. it is a little surprise for the blog readers, once we have a conclusion for a middle name i'll let the cat out of the bag!

pics circa. '06, or the 24th birthday
*before you start feeling bad about the candy-as-a-gift, he LOVES these candies and could eat them nonstop, minus the root beer bottlecaps of course.
